Get on board with Great Lakes Educational Group!

Great Lakes Educational Group has evolved to meet the ever-changing educational demands students face. Over the past 15 years, we have been building custom fit tutoring programs for students to maximize their learning potential.

Our partnerships with local schools give students a convenient and trustworthy opportunity to better prepare them for the next level, whether it be middle school, high school, or the university level. We provide classroom, small group, and one-on-one programs to give students options to succeed in a setting that best suits their learning needs.

We have a proven tract record of providing the best instructors possible. Our tutor, Glenna Ford, was recently nominated Best Teacher of the Year runner up by readers of Ann Arbor Family. In addition, Great Lakes was voted Best Tutor for 2016 in both the Ann Arbor Family's Family Favorites Awards and the Click on Detroit-Vote 4 the Best contest.

Working at Great Lakes

Great Lakes' tutors are enthusiastic teachers who are experts at bringing out a student's strengths and mending their learning weaknesses. Our tutors take the time to speak with parents at every single visit to enable open communication and to address questions and concerns. We receive more than 80% of our clients from word-of-mouth referrals from school administrators, guidance counselors, academic advisors, teachers, consultants, and friends. Our instructors take pride in providing students, as well as parents, with a fulfilling experience and confidence to move on to the next level of their educative journey.
